PDNPA – Local Plan Review - Issues and Options Consultation, 7 October – 29 November 2024

The Peak District National Park Authority is reviewing its Local Plan.

In accordance with Regulation 18 of The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, and as set out in this Public Notice, I am writing to notify you about the subject of the new local plan and invite you to make representations.

The Parish Council will be making a submission on behalf of the village and welcomes comments and suggestions from all parishoners. If you wish to know more please contact Councillor Martin Beer on mdb.hucklowpc@gmail.com

Please also consider responding directly either through the web site or by writing to the National Park Authority.

The subject of the new Local Plan is set out in the Local Plan Review Issues and Options Report.

They are also inviting comments on the accompanying Sustainability Appraisal.

Consultation Period

The consultation will run from 7 October 2024 to 23.59hrs on 29 November 2024. Submissions received after this date may not be considered.

Inspection of documents

The Local Plan Review Issues and Options Report is available for inspection:

  • on the Peak District National Park Authority website

• at libraries (during normal opening hours)

• at the National Park Authority Head Office

Representations

Formal written representations on the Local Plan Review Issues and Options Report are invited to be made during the Consultation Period.

  • If you wish to make representations directly to the Parish Council please email parish.clerk@hucklow.net by Friday the 8th of November 2024 in order that your comments can be incorporated into the Parish Council's response.
  • They can be made directly to PDNPA by the following methods: -

- On-line by using the consultation platform, accessible from the website.

- By letter or email. Please make specific reference to the Issue you are commenting on.
